Our “Good Morning America” anchors shared an adorable
video that’s gone viral of a babbling baby girl as today’s “Play of the Day
Extra” on “GMA LIVE!”
In the video, the baby girl, sitting in her pint-sized
pink car seat, carries on a full-blown conversation in gibberish with her
father.
“You could put that to music and auto tune that, by the
way. I think that’s what we should do,” Sam Champion joked.
“That’s science happening right there. She’s hearing her parents,” Lara Spencer said.
“My daughter, much to my wife’s chagrin, her first word was daddy,” Bill Weir proudly added.
However, this chatty baby isn’t the first we’ve seen. In March 2011, eighteen-month-old fraternal twin boys Sam and Ren took the internet by storm with the viral video of their entire conversation, albeit in baby-talk, complete with questions, answers, facial expressions and gestures.
"Even before they have words, they know how conversation works," said Dr. Roberta Golinkoff, education professor and director of the infant language project at the University of Delaware in Newark.
"They're producing syllables emphatically and using them for communication purposes," she said. "They're having a ball."
“That sounds like you and Josh in the morning,” Spencer said to Champion.
