'Bachelorette' Star's Full-Body Makeover

ABC News' Daisha Riley reports:

She is the original bachelorette. Back then she was Trista Rehn, when she met and fell in love with Ryan Sutter on the very first season of the show.

The happy couple made history as the first "Bachelorette" wedding, but nine years of marriage and two children later, the soon to be 40-year-old reality TV star decided to give herself an early birthday present.

Sutter has gotten a full bikini-body makeover, undergoing surgery to "Feel pretty again." She decided on a breast lift and implants after nursing two kids.

"I nursed both my kids for a year. And literally they were just deflated. That's what happens if you ask any mom. And I wanted a little more self confidence. I wanted to feel sexy for my husband," Sutter said in an interview with "Good Morning America" this morning.

She also had an eye lift for what she says was a "Droopy eye."

Sutter allowed "Inside Edition" cameras into the hospital to capture the entire process, and she couldn't be happier with the results.

"It was worth it," Sutter said.

However, the makeover was not a seamless process. Sutter explained she had some complications after her surgery.

"I ended up with an allergy to my antibiotic. I ended up with a full body rash that itched like crazy. I then was put on prednisone and got super-depressed and dealt with what felt like postpartum depression," Sutter said. "Just know that there can be some complications going into it. Really research your surgeon and know what's going into it beforehand."

Sutter is now back on her feet with her healthy marriage still going strong, also. Ryan and Trista continue to hold the title for being the only "Bachelorette" couple still together.

"For me, I think it's just about commitment, knowing that divorce is not an option. You work through the hard times and you celebrate the good times. And it's just enjoying the every day and loving being with my best friend," said Sutter.

And as if husband Ryan had no complaints before, it's clear he definitely doesn't have any now.

"I'm happy with the results. I mean obviously I love her more, the same as before. But I maybe love one section of her a little more," he joked.
