Chris Brown and Miranda Lambert Twitter Feud Continues

 Miranda Lambert and Chris Brown have been battling in a public Twitter feud since the Grammy Awards last Sunday night.

On Monday, country singer Lambert, who is married to "The Voice" co-host Blake Shelton, tweeted: "And Chris Brown Twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl…Not cool that we act like that didn't happen"

In 2009, Brown pleaded guilty for assaulting former girlfriend Rihanna and is now serving five years of probation.

Brown was applauded by the Grammy audience, which included Rihanna, for his performance and win for best R&B album.  His performance resulted in some very disturbing tweets from fans, including things like, "I'd let Chris Brown beat me up."

Brown responded to Miranda's tweet with one he has since taken down saying, "Hate all you want because I got a grammy now! That's the ultimate f*** off."

On Wednesday Lambert tweeted back, "I'm done for now. But not for good:) nite love bugs & remember… Be who you are an stand for what u believe in. NO MATTER WHAT!"  later adding, "Oh and one more thing for all who are asking….I have a Grammy too:)"

In a concert Thursday night at the Amherst, Mass., Mullins Center, Lambert held up a handwritten poster that read, "Take notes Chris Brown" and said, "Listen, I just need to speak my mind.  Where I come from, beating up on a women is never OK."

After the crowd applauded, she added, "So that's why my daddy taught me early on in life how to use a shotgun."

She then sang her hit song "Gunpowder and Lead," which is about a woman preparing to shoot her abusive husband: "I'm goin' home, gonna load my shotgun/ Wait by the door and light a cigarette/He wants a fight well now he's got one/He ain't seen me crazy yet."

Many of Lambert's songs, like "White Liar" and "I Wanna Die" are known to bash men.

In three separate tweets yesterday, Brown fired back, "Using my name to get publicity? I love it! Perform your heart out!  Go buy @miranda_lambert!  So motivational and "PERFECT."  Goodnight to all the people who live life and who aren't stuck in the past!"

Lambert has yet to respond to Brown's tweets but Jack Osbourne, Michelle Branch and Eric Stonestreet have also expressed their disappointment in Brown's Grammy acceptance.

    if a women hit him, no one would have a problem with it.

    why?.... becuase most women are sexist.... and they brain wash little boys to be sexist agsint there own gender.

    most women deserve to be hit at one time or another..... any man who hits a women who deserves it, is a brave man, and a hero to eqaul rights for men.

    women are children that need to grow up.... and sometimes a good smack is what it takes.

      dude... he didnt cheat on her, nor did he lie to her. She went ballistic on him because he received a text from his own agent. who she had delusions of a relationship going on. she hit him first, in a car. When are guys going to wisen up and stop seeing crazy broads who feel hitting is ok as long as they are doing it.

    has everyone forgotten the interview where he tthrough a chair into a window, without a thought to the fact that someone could have gotten hurt, why is he back, there are so many good artist, hes homley as hell. and rihanna whats up with that i think maybe the two of them deserve each other... oh well... i guess you cant turn a sows ear into a silk purse or purses... my us as the public should just stop supporting these artist.

      Okay so he has anger issues...and I'm not speaking as a fan of CB because I'm not, I don't listen to that kind of music but I look at it as if he were my little brother. Wouldn't you be #$%$ if you did something in the heat of the moment and then two years later in a situation that had nothing relating to the past someone just threw it in your face after you've been trying to fly right. It's like you're damned if you do and damned if you don't. And you say it all high and mightily like in a fit of rage or anger people are thinking clearly. The Incredible Hulk is a great example, it's a metaphor for the rage that lives in all of us; and when Banner gets angry he's not seeing anything but his rage...he's not conscious of who or what is in front of him.I'm not defending Chris' actions, but I think it's so inaccurate to crucify him for something that happened in a fit of rage. It was like the men who come home and dinner's not on the table so they beat their wife, or because the house is dirty. Two hot headed, immature kids with huge allowances and lack of guidance were playing grown up and unfortunately things got ugly. Why is he back? That's his career, is he supposed to shrivel up and die? If you don't like him don't buy or listen to his music, but how dare you ask why is he back? Are you as pure as the driven snow? Man, I despise stupid people!

      he was angry because instead of focusing on his music and his album all they wanted to do was talk about the incident... yes.. he needs to keep going for anger counseling and learning to handle himself better.. but what do you expect from him? he had crappy examples growing up and he was young at the time. He owned up to it, and he paid his dues.. no one should be trying to open it up again, just out of morbid curiosity... its like slowing down to watch a car wreck and causing one because youre an idiot.

    Chris Brown is a little bi#ch and is in trouble with the law again. This time, he grabbed a girl's cell phone as she tried to photograph him and took off with it. It happened in Florida, and I'm hoping it has a three strikes policy like California.

    Could someone explain to me why, if Miranda truly believes what she is saying, did she and her husband perform in a tribute to Glen Cambell who used to beat the he!! out of Tanya Tucker. There is something wrong with that picture.

    He is so disrespectful of women. He hasn't learned a thing. He grabs a girls phone because she took a picture of him in public, and he calls her a #$%$ Public figures are going to be photographed by people when they are seen out in public. He had no right to be angry at her for taking a pic. If Rhianna gets back with him, she needs therapy as much as he does. I bet his mama is so proud of him! Yeah, right!!

    One quick way to get Rhianna and Chris back down to earth is stop buying their music and lets see how quick all that Bravado dries up from the both. He and she both came from nothing and can easily end back up with nothing. Chris you did what you did man....own it....And Rhianna you put his #$%$ in jail for it so now it's OK.....Really....Really.
