Danny DeVito says there is the chance of reconciliation with his estranged wife Rhea Perlman.

The "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" star told " Extra" Wednesday that he and Perlman are "working on getting back together."

The couple has been married 30 years.

DeVito told "Extra" that he doesn't consider himself to be single, explaining, "Rhea and I are really close. Actually, still together, just separate, but together."

In October, DeVito's rep confirmed to ABCNews.com that the pair were separating.

DeVito, 67, and Perlman, 64, married in January 1982 and have three children together. They met in 1970 after Perlman went to see a friend in the Broadway play "The Shrinking Bride" and ended up charmed by DeVito, who was also in the production.
