Heidi Klum and Seal Confirm Split

Heidi Klum's catchphrase on her hit reality competition show "Project Runway" may now have sad implications to her love life, as it has been confirmed that she is splitting with her husband, pop star Seal.
The news that the power couple's nearly seven year marriage is officially over was confirmed in a statement first released to People magazine.
"While we have enjoyed seven very loving, loyal and happy years of marriage, after much soul-searching we have decided to separate," the couple said in the statement.
The celebrity couple was first engaged in 2004 during a vacation in the Canadian Rockies - in an igloo, no less. The model and singer famously renewed their vows in lavish ceremonies each year. Together the couple has two sons, Henry, 6, and Johan, 5,and one daughter Lou, 2.
"This news came as a real surprise because Heidi and Seal seemed like a tight knit couple who were devoted to their family," Joey Bartolomeo, senior writer at People Magazine told "Good Morning America."
The two met in 2004 while Klum was pregnant with her first child, Helene - nicknamed Leni - and were engaged by 2005; in 2009 Seal officially adopted Helene. Now the collapse of the couple's model marriage has many wondering if there had been signs of trouble.
"One insider said one of the issues the couple was facing was that distance was really tearing them apart, they both have very busy careers," Bartolomeo said.
Eyebrows were raised last week when the supermodel bombshell hit the red carpet solo at the Golden Globes ceremony, while Seal was in the U.K. promoting his new album, "Soul 2."
Soon celebrity blogs were on red alert after the "Kiss From a Rose" singer took to Twitter on Friday, posting a cryptic message simply saying "the end," along with a photo of his tattoo with wings. Many wondered if the image was a reference to Klum's days as a Victoria's Secret "angel."
The couple has so far released only a few details on their split, merely stating, "We have had the deepest respect for one another throughout our relationship and continue to love each other very much, but we have grown apart."
