Kardashian Brings Out Fans, Protesters (ABC News)

Kim Kardashian draws a crowd everywhere she goes, and a three-day visit to the Middle East proved to be no exception, bringing out fans and protesters alike.

The reality television star visited Kuwait and Bahrain to help launch new Millions of Milkshakes shops in the two countries.

Throughout her visit, Kardashian received a riotous outpouring of affection from fans, and the feeling seemed to be mutual.

"OMG I just got to Bahrain! Can I move here please?" the star tweeted. "Prettiest place on Earth!"

Bahrain's foreign minister retweeted the message and said "Thank you."

But the warm welcome wasn't being extended by everyone.

While Kardashian appeared inside a Millions of Milkshakes shop on Saturday to adoring fans, outside riot police fired tear gas into a crowd to disperse more than 50 hard line Islamic protesters denouncing her presence.

If Kardashian was aware of the protests, it certainly didn't seem to put a damper on her visit.

Posing in front of a camel, she tweeted: "Such a fun day in Bahrain!"
