Kim Kardashian Gets Floured on Red Carpet
It was an offense of the baking kind. At the launch of her fragrance line in West Hollywood Thursday night, Kim Kardashian got doused with flour and ran off the red carpet trailing powder from her hair and clothes.
Police arrested the woman who allegedly threw the stuff and inspected the 30-year-old reality TV star to determine that it was, in fact, cooking flour that hit her, nothing toxic. Kardashian and her mother reportedly rushed to a private room at the London Hotel where they brushed off the powder and carried on with the fragrance fete.
"That probably is the craziest, unexpected, weird thing that ever happened to me," she told E! Online.
Kardashian's sisters, who were not with her, tweeted about the attack. "I wish I was with my sister tonight," wrote Khloe Kardashian. "I bet you that woman wouldn't have dared tried a thing…"
"Classy to flour bomb my sister at her charity event helping women," Kourtney Kardashian tweeted. "I wonder if they would have dared thrown the flour at my hormonal and pregnant self!"
It's become something of a trend. Multiple 2012 presidential candidates have been glittered during the campaign, and comedian Sacha Baron Cohen threw pancake batter over Ryan Seacrest at the Oscars, claiming he was sprinkling the E! host with Kim Jong-il's ashes.
