Lindsay Lohan has checked in to the Betty Ford Center for her mandatory three-month rehab stint, ABC News has confirmed.
The actress, 26, was under fire from the court for failing to report to a treatment facility Thursday morning.
Her lawyer Mark Heller insisted to the court, "She's in rehab right now. Nothing bad is going to happen."
Heller, however, was incorrect and Lohan didn't check into rehab until she arrived at the Betty Ford Center, an addiction treatment hospital in Rancho Mirage, Calif.
Heller has since been replaced as Lohan's lawyer by Shawn Holley.
The "Liz & Dick" star must spend three months in treatment as part of a plea deal that also includes 30 days of community labor, a fine and 18 months of psychological counseling.
"I think it's a blessing," Lohan told David Letterman. "I think this is an opportunity for me to, you know, focus on what I love in life."
She also went prepared: just a few days before checking in, Lohan posted a photo of the 270 outfits she was planning to bring with her. Also Read
