We all know Lady Gaga can sing, but can she cook?  The Grammy winning singer's parents, Joe and Cynthia Germanotta, will open the doors to their new, family-style Italian restaurant in Manhattan's Upper West Side tonight.

"Joanne's Trattoria" is named after Gaga's aunt, her father's late  sister, whom the singer credits with inspiring her to become an artist.  Joanne, a poet and painter, died of Lupus at the age of 19.

Showcasing family recipes from Lady Gaga, her grandmother and her father, the restaurant's menu has been created by chef Art SmithChef Smith was formerly the chef for Bob Graham and Jeb Bush before working for Oprah Winfrey in 2007.  In addition to the Italian inspired recipes from Lady Gaga's family, the Germanottas, Smith's southern upbringing will also influence the menu.

Dishes like Wood Fired Focaccia, Zucchini Fritters, Tomato Fennel Soup, Chopped Antipasti Salad, Papa Joe's Chicken, Grandma Ronnie's Meatballs and Six Layer Lasagna will be on the menu.  Entree prices will range from $25 to $30.

Careful she might want to barrow some of the food to make and outfit. Keep all the meat locked up

I'm sure Joanne is very honored by having a restaurant named after her dead self. I bet she'd be one hell of a lot more honored if Lady Gaga would cure lupus with those millions of hers so no one else would die from this awful disease.

This #$%$ reporter obviously does not know what good music is or she wouldnt be saying that this costumed prostitute can sing.Of course this reporter music experience is probably from Karaoke night with drunk friends and/or siting in a country western bar. I also doubt that GAG ME has cooking skills go beyond coffee, toast, and a scrambled egg.

Excuse me but Gaga is hardly a hooker in costumes considering top designers like Coco Chanel and Pacco Robanne have styled Gaga. So are you saying Karl Largerfield designs for hookers? I seriously doubt it. And Gaga is a classically trained musician and CAN sing! And Gaga can cook as demonstrated on Alan Carr interview.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWtcRL03FVo and if even after listening to this you think Gaga still can't sing, you seriously neeeeeeed you're ears tested.

The media ought to be tired of glorifying celebrities when our country is going to hell in a hand basket.
