Wedding Bells for Pippa Middleton?

With the Duchess of Cambridge due to give birth any day now and rumors that Pippa Middleton is madly in love, could there be two major milestones for the Middleton family this year?

Royal watchers say yes, that wedding bells are likely for Pippa Middleton after the excitement of the birth of the royal baby, the first child for Kate and her husband, Prince William, dies down.

Middleton, 29, has told friends that her new beau, financier Nico Jackson, 35, is "the one," according to a report in the U.K.'s Daily Mail.

They have been dating for eight months but after a scene-stealing canoodling session at the Wimbledon men's singles semi-finals last week, their relationship is very public and both are telling friends that the relationship is serious, according to the Daily Mail.

"An engagement is definitely on the cards," a person identified as a "close friend" of the couple told the paper.

"He has never been happier and this is really what he wants," the source said of Jackson.

So who is Jackson, the man who has stolen the heart of Middleton, the younger sister who stole the show at the royal wedding of her older sister, the duchess?

He is a stockbrocker who, unlike Middleton's brother-in-law, does not come from royal lineage. Jackson was raised in a middle-class household in Folkestone, Kent, 70 miles from London, where his parents run a sportswear firm, according to People magazine.

Jackson has met the Middleton family - the couple was spotted with the family on the Caribbean island of Mustique in February - and Middleton has apparently met Jackson's parents, as well.

"Yes, we have met [Pippa] and I have to say she is absolutely charming, but I really cannot say any more," Jackson's mother, Ulrike Jackson, told the Daily Mail in February. "We're all just very pleased."

Take a Peek at Pippa Middleton's Party-Planning Book

Middleton gained worldwide fame when she donned an eye-catching maid of honor gown at her sister's wedding in April 2011. She wrote about her instant-fame in her book, "Celebrate," which featured a year of successful party-planning tips and recipes.

"It's a bit startling to achieve global recognition (if that's the right word) before the age of thirty, on account of your sister, your brother-in-law and your bottom," Middleton wrote in the book, released in 2012. "I'm a typical girl in her twenties trying to forge a career and represent herself in what can sometimes seem rather strange circumstances."

Middleton added, "It feels even stranger to me than it probably does to you to have seen so much written about me when I have done so little to paint a picture of myself. This is my first chance to do that."

Last month, Middleton was named a contributing editor for Vanity Fair and wrote her first column about Wimbledon and her wedding plans as a child, two topics that now seem even more relevant given her show of affection with Jackson at the All England Club.

"If I had to get married, it would be in my tennis whites - shorts with no pleats or frills," Middleton wrote of her childhood wedding plans, admitting she was quite a tomboy as a child.
