Whitney Houston Disheveled, Disoriented in Last Photo

What do you feel about this article?

Could this photo signal what was going wrong in Whitney Houston's life? The pop icon, who died today at 48, was last photographed on Thursday leaving the Tru nightclub in Hollywood, Calif. She appeared disheveled and disoriented, with what looked like sweat running down her face and blood dripping down her leg.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, she got into an altercation with "X Factor" finalist Stacy Francis on Thursday at an R&B appreciation event where she was said to be acting "belligerent." On Friday night, as THR reported that Houston had been approached to be a judge on the reality talent competition program, she was at a spa, according to her publicist.

I think a lot of Americans have lost their humanity. She had an amazing voice and her life was just that, her life. Let her be at peace. Isn't that what you would want for your sister, mother, brother, or even your x wife, if they passed away?

I don't understand how people can say Whitney Houston's problems were related to her wealth and celebrity. Unfortunately, this is a problem with people of all economic and social situations. No matter what, it's a tragedy! My prayers are with Whitney's mother and daughter.

I agree with you for the most part. But she was probably unhappy and her wealth enabled her to indulge in a lifestyle that many of us could not afford. RIP Whitney.

I see a common pattern with a lot of successful entertainers. The people who surround them, who should be looking after them and helping them, do not care how destructive the entertainers life style and behaviour is as long as they keep bringing in the money. That's all the hangerons are interested in.....the money.

I feel somewhat the same this is a pattern and it should be more attention to people when they are alive than after they are gone on. This women was a beautiful person that was under alot of stress and people stress is not a easy subject to talk about or to live in. I lost 2 kids in a car wreck and everyday is a challenge for me STRESS I have a story to tell we must learn to share our feelings with other in order for things to change in our lives. I am praying for the daughter because this will either make her or break her.

Good points, Margaret and Tabatha. Keep writing your comments; keep telling your stories. It was good to read your comments. So sorry about your loss, Tabatha, your prayers have been heard; and as you well know, your prayers are being answered: as others are praying for you. Faith.

While I am not a fan of bashing someone when they are dead, I am also not a fan of simply dismissing their actions. Whitney had her faults, like most of us do, but she was a great singer.

Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston, Elvis Presley, Kurt Cobain, Janis Joplin, Jimmy Hendrix, to name a few destroyed themselves. It is time for Hollywood and their pawns in the media to stop glorifying drug and alcohol addiction, sexual irresponsibility. When these prosper communities suffer because our children are influenced to copy them and they grow up dependent.

For all the negative comments for those of you posting about Whitney, please remember she was someone's mother, daughter and sibling who is no longer on this earth. As far as Whitney being a drug user, none of you, your family or close friends are ever immune from this addiction.

In fact most of the video and pictures I've seen of her surprised me with how good she looked. SHe was the perfect weight, she looks like she took care of herself judging by how nicely she dressed her nails were perfectly manicured, if you want to see disheveled you should see me go out to my mailbox in my pajamas at 10: am !

I think she actually looks good in this photo, is it just me? Her friend looks pretty tired of 'babysitting' though...

The only one who can change is the person herself. No one could intervene unless she was willing to get herself clean and sober.

A woman died who just happens to be an entertainer. This happens everyday all over the world. If this was your mother, sister, daughter, or even ex-wife it wouldn't feel so good to have ppl say all these crass remarks about their life. How she was or how it happened is totally irrelevant now. A person is dead who left a child behind. We all know what the outcome of a situation like this can lead to and as unfortunate as it is we should just respect the situation for what it is. I bet ppl were not saying all that mess about Elvis when he died on the toilet??!!! I know they were not, his fans were devestated!! We should just respect her for all the beautiful songs that she blessed us with and the time she was her for us to enjoy her music. I have always been a Whitney fan and will forever be!!!

Congratulations, Bobby Brown! You took a super talented and beautiful woman and you turned her into a drug addict and now she's dead. Mission accomplished.
