But audiences will also be eager to see who's cheering on the stars from the sidelines.
Most of the real-life partners this season aren't nearly as famous as their star spouses, though Wynona Judd's husband Cactus Moser made headlines last year when his left leg was amputated above the knee following a motorcycle accident in South Dakota.
Moser's leg was severed at the scene and doctors in Rapid City performed the surgery. He also underwent surgery to his hand.
The accident came just a couple months after Judd married her drummer husband in a sunset wedding on June 10, 2012, at her farm in Leiper's Fork, Tenn. According to Us Weekly, Judd wore a Houri Barahimi dress and no shoes for the ceremony.
"I felt a joy that hasn't been there before," Judd said of her third marriage.
Now Judd is finally ready to take the plunge on the dance floor, after being asked for six years. "This is something I said I would never do," she told ABC, adding "It's the year of doing things that you're scared of."
No doubt she'll have the support of Moser and her two children, Grace and Elijah, from her marriage to businessman Arch Kelley III.
Read below to see who else will be cheering on the stars this season:

Asked why his wife is still with him, he replied, "I've begged for forgiveness. I have a woman who understands I'm trying."

Comedian Andy Dick may be currently single but don't be surprised if some interesting lady turns up on the sidelines.
Dick, 47, was most recently photographed dining with a woman wearing a "Friday the 13th" style hockey mask.
He was previously married to Ivone Kowalczyk from 1986 to 1990, with whom he has a son, Lucas. He also has a son and a daughter with Lena Sved.

"Marriage is so special," Pickler told People. "I never thought that I would get married, so I'm glad that I let that wall down. I'm glad that I let Kyle love me. He is the greatest blessing in my life."
The couple dated for two and half years until Jacobs proposed on a Florida beach at sunset on the birthday of Pickler's late grandmother. Pickler was raised by her grandmother after her mother left and her father went to jail.
She credits her husband for teaching her how to have a healthy relationship.

Victor Ortiz and Alexia Garland
Former welterweight champion Victor Ortiz was most recently linked with Alexia Garland, a publicist for Sony Pictures.
But he's also fended off rumors that he was involved with "Basketball Wives L.A." star Draya Michele and Kobe Bryant's on-again-off-again wife Vanessa.
Michele quickly shut down the rumors on Twitter. As for Vanessa Bryant, Ortiz told TMZ it's a "cool rumor" but not true.
Perhaps Baltimore Ravens star wide receiver Jacoby Jones will reveal his longtime girlfriend when he takes to the dance floor this season.
His mother Emily Jones referred to his girlfriend, with whom he has an infant son, Jacoby Jr., earlier this year in an interview with the New Orleans newspaper The Times-Picayune.
She said that when Jacoby Jr. was born, the older Jones made a promise that he would be a good father no matter what. Stung by his own father walking out when he was just 18 months old, Jones makes it a point to communicate with his son nightly, even when he's not home, via Facetime and Skype.
"Jacoby loves children," Emily Jones told the newspaper. "He's just a big kid himself."
