Dog Shaming: 9 Hilarious Canine Crimes

Remember dog shaming, the online trend of putting your pooch in the virtual doghouse by sharing a photo of the canine crime? It became a web sensation with dog owners posting countless pictures of their dogs, wearing signs explaining their transgressions: from chewing on high heels to devouring mom’s beloved begonias. Since the Tumblr blog first started in Aug. 2012, it’s received more than 24,000 submissions from dog owners, racked up 25 million page views, and is now being made into a picture book of the same name. The book, by Tumblr creator Pascale Lemire, features some of the greatest hits, but mostly never-before-seen snapshots. Click through to see some of our favorites.
