WORST: Unfortunately, Zooey Deschanel's green and black Prada dress disappoints. We were hoping for something a bit more bold from this girl-next-door.

BEST: One of the best looks for Emma Stone, this flowing frock is absolutely stunning.

BEST: Evan Rachel Wood's dark emerald dress flows down into feathers. What's not to love?

BEST: Like a gladiator goddess, Salma Hayek's dress sparkles on the runway. Her on-trend ombre hair complements the colors of her gold and black gown.

BEST: Actress Shailene Woodley looks like a true budding starlet in this sophisticated and ethereal yet age-appropriate gown.

WORST: Recently a fashion favorite, Rooney Mara misses the mark on the red carpet. The modern cutouts of the dress combined its old-fashioned black bustle leave us confused.

WORST: This dress looks like the victim of a cleaning casualty. (Did someone leave a pen in the wash?) Even America's sweetheart, Sarah Michelle Gellar, couldn't pull of this look.

BEST: Geometric patterns add an interesting dimension to this already stunning metallic dress. Sparkling accessories and a high ponytail accent rather than distract us from her look.

WORST: Amanda Peet's tiered lace dress looks more like Little Bo Peep than a red carpet gown. We wish she picked a more figure flattering option.

WORST: While fun and whimsical, Piper Perabo's taupe dress is full of fabric and almost see-through. Perabo doesn't make the cut this year.
