PHOTOS: Lady Gaga Takes on ‘Wizard of Oz’ in ‘Applause’ Performance on ‘GMA’
Lady Gaga hit the “Good Morning America” stage today with a special “Wizard of Oz” themed-performance of her new single, "Applause." Channeling Dorothy, the 27-year-old began with a rendition of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” before breaking into the hit. The singer transformed into multiple personas for the show-stopping performance - from Dorothy to Glinda the Good Witch to the Wicked Witch of the West - and danced on the yellow brick road stage surrounded by fans dressed as poppy flowers. "There's no place like 'Good Morning America,'" she said after her applause-worthy performance.
Her latest album, “ARTPOP,” which includes the hit single “Applause,” will be released on Nov. 11.
