Lara Spencer Dives in With Diana Nyad to Help Sandy Victims

Diana Nyad kicked off her 48-hour swim to raise money for Superstorm Sandy survivors live today on “Good Morning America” and the first person to swim alongside her was none other than “GMA” co-anchor Lara Spencer.  Nyad and Spencer dove into a specially designed pool in the heart of New York City, Herald Square, right next to the famed Macy's department store, where Nyad will continue swimming until Thursday morning.  Nyad and Spencer were cheered on by “GMA” co-anchor Robin Roberts and throngs of fans.  Click through to see Nyad and Spencer in action and click HERE to find out how you can help support the cause.
