PHOTOS: Supermodels Prove to Be Natural Beauties

If a typical photo shoot involves hours of makeup and hair to make models look picture-perfect, the photo shoots for New York-based photographer James Houston’s new book were definitely atypical.  Houston's book, aptly titled “Natural Beauty,” features supermodels and celebrities alike in their natural state, harnessing the earth.  I wanted the book to be timeless and not too limited by any elements that may date the images or be distracting,” Houston, 47, told ABCNews.com.  “I also love working with the human body and see it as a pure and beautiful form.”  A portion of the funds from the book, to be released April 30, will go to the non-profit Global Green USA and raise awareness for World Earth Week 2013, an environmental cause very much on Houston’s mind.  “When I think about a younger generation I wanted to hopefully have them look at nature in a way that maybe they hadn't before,” he said.  “Because I used natural elements incorporated with the human form you start to consider our connection to nature and the environment.”
