Tiny Toddler Takes Magical Naps with New Puppy

For two hours a day, an incredibly magical moment happens between 23-month-old, Beau, and his family’s new 8-week-old puppy, Theo. The dynamic duo takes the most mesmerizing naps ever caught on camera, and thanks to Jessica Shyba, their mom and quick-thinking blogger, the rest of the world has been able to witness the tranquil trip to dreamland, too. Every day, Theo joins Beau in his bedroom for naptime at which point he plops on top of him and “they sleep, entwined, for at least two hours,” Shyba, 34, writes on her blog, Momma’s Gone City. The naps are “sweeter than nearly anything I think I’ve ever seen or experienced.” The family adopted Theo, a Boxer, Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix, from the Santa Cruz SPCA & Humane Society a few short weeks ago, and what followed was “the most organic and beautiful friendship I have ever witnessed,” she explained. “It makes my heart nearly explode with joy.” You can follow the sleepy pals on Instagram as #TheoandBeau.
