Wait--India gets the world's coolest BlackBerry?

Canadian newswatchers will find it extremely strange that Waterloo's Research in Motion recently launched its new, "ultra-premium" BlackBerry smartphone at a black-tie gala twinkling with Bollywood stars. The BlackBerry Porsche P'9981--fruit of RIM's partnership with Porsche Design, of Germany--costs $2,000, and is presently available only in India and the U.K. What, exactly, is going on here? --by John Bucher
