Gas Prices Cause Outrage Coast to Coast

I was watching the movie Mad Max, the movie where gas is so precious that people are killing themselves over a few gallons......it was set sometime in the future, around August.

If you don't have gas you can't get to work. If you can't get to work you can't get money for gas.

Gas prices are all smoke and mirror numbers to line big money pockets.The % that gas prices have increased do not match the % that oil barrel prices increased. Prices are going to shoot up to $5.00 for a month and then drop to $4.50 and we will praise the government & oil companies for the great decrease we received and all along forget that just 3 months ago we paid $3.55 for the same gallon. But we will smile and think how great it is not to be paying $5.00 and on the cycle will go.

This is not the way we should be living. The quality of life for the average American has decreased dramatically.

When I saw the headline..Fuel cost wake up theives..I thought they were refering to the Speculators,Oil and refinery Company executives..

people need to turn that anger toward the goverment and the oil companies. to all americans we need to ban together and put a stop to this big goverment bull shiat we cant keep letting the goverment rule us we need to be ruling them. this country has been going down hill for quite sometime but its in double overdrive now. wake up people. we got to get these jerks out of washington and start fresh.

I used to drive cars that cost less than a full tank of gas now....

I feel sorry for single people on mimimum wage.

It must be difficult for these anchor persons to report about desperate people while still looking cheerful. Though... not too cheerful.

I just gotta say don't steal it. We stopped at a gas station a few yrs ago & the clerk had the pumps on outside. It was so cold & windy in her in Va that day. While we used the restroom another customer got $10 in gas. When we went to pay for our items she almost started crying. We asked her what was wrong. She said she had the pumps on b/c of the weather & she was trying to be nice. She said that other customer just stole $10 in gas. I said oh no...she said it would come out of HER paycheck. She said she was told to require prepay for everyone. I mean it was COLD, the wind would take your breath away. We left & I told my husband to please turn around. He said I know what you want to do, & he did. I went in there & gave her $10 & told her to use it for the gas. She said oh no I couldn't. I said you were trying to be a nice, decent person...one good turn deserves another. As I turned to leave she had tears in her eyes. So think about that poor person working for min. wage who YOU are ripping off.

Home invasions, muggings, they're all up. Theft is up in general. People are desperate. Carrying a gun is a necessity these days.
