Why has Yahoo deleted thousands of comments on this story?

I thought I was the only one that noticed that John. You are right however. I made a comment on something yesterday. I came back about an hour or so later and looked through all the comments and mine was no where to be found. Strange.

I think I may have figured it out John. When you go to the comment section look right there where you post a comment. You will see where it says "All Comments", and "My Comments". Click on "My Comments" and it will show the comment you posted and if there were any replies to it or not. Hope that helps.

They don't always have your comments there Terrie.
Sometimes a Moderator will disagree with your comment, and chose not to post it.

Obviously, the police force isn't making INTEGRITY of character, a requirement these days.

Sounds like they are, if they caught the guy and suspended him without pay for 30 days for stealing food out of the fridge. I used to work with a #$%$ who was proud to do it, he'd stay late at night and go from fridge to fridge looking for free snacks. Takes a real loser.

Rick 1 cop =/= all cops. Please dont lump all them as bad cause one was stealing....even though it was very petty. I am sure this man is by far more trustworthy than anyone polictian we have.

Just goes to prove there is nothing special about cops.

Just because they wear a badge and a uniform doesn't mean they aren't thieves, liars, and dirtbags.

I was a Deputy Sheriff for 9 years before leaving in disgust. Half of the people I worked with were no better than the criminals we arrested.

Not every ones cup of tea. Yes, most of these guys are #$%$ bags, most not all! But then again most join the police force because the just want the rush of abusing others and not have people fight back.

They did the same thing at my husband's job a few years back.. it turns out that a VP was stealing people's ham and cheese sandwiches. It's never the custodians or secretaries.

It’s past time to set-up a Public Panel to investigate all claims made against police officers and Police Departments with non paid rotating registered voters; it should be our duty to protect our system. NO MORE having the police investigate themselves. When are we going to learn you CAN NOT trust the police to police themselves? Laws should be passed across the U.S.A., county by county that all police stops must be videotaped and have all recordings recorded to a hard drive outside the reach of any police officer or its department. Any police officer or Dept found to violate procedures of law should be held accountable to the fullest degree and have no protection from lawsuits when violations occur. The public needs to demand starting at the county level, then state by state. We need to petition each state to pass this type of law, state by state. This protects our police departments and officers while protecting our citizens’. Since the police and our court system are sworn to protect citizens’ right? Our courts should also be videotape and recorded to an outside hard drive, outside the reach of the courts, judges and police officers, this would rid our system of corruption too, right?"

At my previous job, we had a food thief. This person would routinely take our lunches! Frustrated and fed up with the situation, a couple of co-workers and I put laxative-laced food in the fridge. We figured out who the thief was because he was in and out of the bathroom every 15 mins all afternoon. At the end of the day we told him what we did and his face was beet-red with embarassment.

Can we also set up similar stings to catch the big-bank execs, Wall Street traders (traitors?), oil-industry tycoons and other filthy-rich people who are bribing America's politicians and stealing from taxpayers?
  • john  •  2 months ago
so if someone steals from your house, car, etc. it goes little beyond a courtesy report. Now that the police have a lunch thief it is under full investigation. Now days it seems that even security footage doesn't get a second look unless someone was injured.

I expect most police in this country are criminal in some way. It's fun to watch them get caught. When they pull me over and start giving me their holier-than-thou spiel, I just ignore it. I know it's coming from a hypocrite.

If they didn't leave the donuts in the fridge, perhaps this could have been avoided.

I hate cops. They think they own the world. Mr Grandfather had a small restaurant. Everyday 5 to 7 cops would go in and order big expensive meals. When they finished eating, they would just get up and walk out without paying a penny. One day my Grandfather went up to them and told them they would have to pay for whatever they ate. That same night someone set fire to the restaurant and burned it down. I hate them all with a passion.
