A British university student just snagged a hedonist's dream job: a water slide tester who will travel the world this summer for a vacation company.
Seb Smith, 22, pictured above, was selected from 2,000 applicants to ride and rate water slides for SplashWorld resorts. The all-inclusive resorts are owned by vacation brand, First Choice, and offer guests unlimited use of their waterparks. First Choice is part of travel company, TUI UK & Ireland.
As the company's newest employee, Smith will judge slides based on characteristics like "biggest splash" and "adrenaline factor."

Another Brit, Tommy Lynch, was the company's previous slide tester.
"After four years doing a great job as our Slide Tester, Tommy has hung up his shorts and decided to look for a new challenge," said the company. "We wish him all the best and look forward to our new water enthusiast taking on the role of Slide Tester for our All Inclusive SplashWorld resorts."
Smith, of Somerset, England, is completing a degree in Design Technology at the University of Leeds in Great Britain.
With the new gig, he has a six-month contract to test slides and flumes at SplashWorld water parks around the world, in places like Majorca, Turkey and Iberotel Makadi Saraya Splash in Egypt, pictured below.
The five finalists for the job competed in a series of challenges at the resort's waterpark in Hurguada, Egypt.
In addition to his salary of £20,000, or about $30,904, all of his overseas travel expenses will be covered and he gets a seven-night stay for two at a First Choice All Inclusive resort at the end of his six-month contract.
"We were impressed by his enthusiasm and skills at every stage of our search and at the final in Makadi Saraya Splash Resort Egypt it was clear that we'd found the ideal person for the role of Slide Tester," said Luke Gaskins, First Choice Head of Holiday Innovation, in a statement.
"I'm absolutely over the moon to be chosen as the new Slide Tester for SplashWorld and can't wait to get started in my new job!" said Smith in a statement.
