4 Easy Exercises to Get a Great Midsection

Pasternak's secret to having a great midsection is to train all parts of the abdominal muscles.

"Too many people spend too much time crunching, crunching, crunching, and they neglect the rest of their abs," Pasternak says. "You want to make sure that you do continue crunching by doing things like a double crunch, which trains the front of the midsection. You also want to train the side of the midsection by doing dumbbell side bends. You want to train the back of the midsection by doing the superman, and seated trunk twists to get the corset muscle to pull your abs in."

"Try all four of these and you'll look fantastic 360 degrees," he says.

How to Get a Great Butt

Getting a great butt is "the biggest request" Pasternak says he hears from female clients.

"The key to a great butt is training all the muscles that go around the butt area, from your hamstrings to your glutes, to even your lower back," Pasternak says.

Try three moves - the skater lunge, dead lift and mule kick (see video for demo) - to tone and tighten your behind. "Next thing you know, you'll have a butt you can bounce quarters off of," he says.

Get Fantastic Arms

Try these three moves, Pasternak says, to tone and tighten your biceps, triceps and the top of the arm, your deltoid muscles.
