'GMA' Anchors Reveal Their Celebrity Crushes

ABC News Blogs

The cat is officially out of the bag on which celebrities “Good Morning America” anchors secretly have crushes on.

It all started when George Stephanopoulos’ wife, comedian and author Ali Wentworth, appeared on “GMA” today and they played the “Not So Newlywed Game,” a spin-off of the classic game show.

“Who is George’s celebrity crush?,” Lara Spencer asked Wentworth.

“Marisa Tomei!” Wentworth shouted without hesitation. “By the way,” she joked, “Not allowed on the show. She’s doing the ‘Today Show’ from now on.”

The conversation continued on “GMA LIVE!” today as Bill Weir asked about Stephanopoulos’ now not-so secret crush. “Is this the ‘My Cousin Vinny’ Marisa Tomei, or is it ‘The Wrestler?’ There’s a lot of range to Marisa Tomei,” he said.

Champion quickly chimed in, “I’m willing to bet if you have a crush on an actor or actress, it doesn’t matter what they do,” directing his focus to Spencer. “I mean you with Matthew McConaughey.”

“He has a tremendous body of work,” Spencer joked.

Weir revealed he has a celebrity crush on “Black Swan” star Natalie Portman.

“Brains, Ivy-leaguer. I love her and Scarlett Johansson,” Weird said. “This is why I love my wife, love love love her. She knows I like Scarlett Johansson so for my birthday last year she said, ‘What do you want?’”

Since Weir’s wife wasn’t exactly able to fulfill his deepest birthday desires, his wife got him the next best thing: “Great seats to ‘Cat on a Hot Tin Roof,’” he said.
