Katie Holmes Never Mentioned Tom Cruise in Interview Day Before Divorce Filing
Katie Holmes sat down for an interview with C Magazine a day before filing for divorce from Tom Cruise June 29, and never mentioned the actor by name once.
Senior editor Kelsey McKinnon, who conducted the interview for the magazine, told WWD.com, "She never actually refers to him by name over pages and pages of transcription."

"Going back over the tapes, there were signs: Holmes was certainly very aware of herself, laying a couple cards on the table but never showing her whole hand," McKinnon added.
Holmes, who is featured on the cover of the September issue of C Magazine , seemed to be uncomfortable when McKinnon asked whether 6-year-old daughter Suri brought her and Tom closer together.
Holmes replied, "I don't know. I mean, I don't know. People have been having babies a long time."
Holmes reportedly has custody of Suri, and Cruise has visitation rights.
