Lady Gaga Suffers Concussion, Keeps Rocking During Concert

Lady Gaga

is known for her outrageous outfits and live performances and now the pop star can be known for her will to go on with the show, no matter what happens.

The Grammy winner was in the middle of her final of three sold-out concerts in New Zealand Sunday when a male backup dancer accidentally hit her in the head with a pole as she was performing her hit “Judas.”

Video of the concert posted online shows Gaga rub her head and briefly walk off the stage before returning to perform 16 more songs and end the show without missing a beat.

“I want to apologize,” she told the audience later on during the show, part of her “The Born This Way Ball” world tour.  “I did hit my head and I think I may have a concussion. But don’t you worry, I will finish this show.”

The concussion diagnosis was confirmed by the superstar’s make-up artist, Tara Savelo, in a tweet later that night.

“Gaga has a concussion but she is going to be okay,” Savelo wrote.  “She wants u to know she loves u. I’m taking care of her. Can’t believe she finished the show.”

The accident reportedly occurred while the backup dancer was trying to remove the pole from the stage, just as Gaga was bending down to pick up a prop machine gun.

Earlier this month pop star Justin Bieber, 18, suffered a concussion after he reportedly ran into a glass wall during a concert in Paris.
