These pups are sleeping in doggy paradise.

Corgi owners Jonathan and Lisa, of Havre de Grace, Maryland, transformed a retro TV into this chic dog bed.

Their dogs, Buckley, a Corgi, and Cy, a Border Collie/Corgi mix, are enjoying their new digs, but the family’s newest addition, a long haired tortoiseshell cat named Moxxi, has treated it like her own because “she’s already the boss,” Lisa told ABC News with a laugh.

The creative DIY project took them a little more than a month to complete. The couple worked on it periodically on weekends.

It features homemade stained glass windows for perfect sunlight exposure.

“Originally we were going to do little curtains on the sides, but my wife as a hobby does stained glass and came up with the idea to make little windows,” said Jonathan.

“It was half-jokingly, but then it actually happened,” Lisa added.

The bed even has framed photos of the dogs’ “significant others” on the wall.

“Our Corgi actually has a pretty big Corgi following on Facebook,” Jonathan explained. “Those are actually photos of their boyfriends and girlfriends. The cat is our pet because we needed a third picture and she thinks she rules the roost so we threw her picture in there.”

Jonathan and Lisa originally wanted to transform the television into a fish tank, but that idea quickly fizzled out and they moved forward with the dog bed instead.

“Lisa had an idea to make a fish tank out of an old television but we never got fish,” said Jonathan. “We wanted to keep the typical TV appearance, but use the rounded screen as the tank where you could watch the fish like a live show.”

One of the most difficult parts of the project was finding the old-school television in the first place.

“We’ve been looking for a TV like this for a while. Years,” said Jonathan. “Her grandmother used to have one and of course got rid of it. It has become harder and harder to find because people aren’t using them anymore, but people are using them for multiple DIY projects. There’s multiple upcycle uses for these things.”

They eventually found one at Second Chance in Baltimore, a nonprofit that reclaims building materials, furniture and appliances, and after they finished the project it didn’t take long before the pets moved in.

“At first they were a little skittish around it,” said Jonathan. “But then we threw some treats in there and they realized it’s a good thing and it’s comfortable.”
