'GMA' 5-Alarm Firefighters Challenge: Tacoma vs. Las Vegas in Semi-Finals

"Good Morning America" asked firefighters across the country to make their own lip-dub videos to "Safe and Sound" by Capital Cities for a chance to compete for a $10,000 prize for their fire department.

Three teams of firefighters will face off live on “GMA” next week in some "heated" competitions, and it’s up to America who earns a spot.

The McAllen Fire Department from McAllen, Texas, won Wednesday’s vote against the Clearcreek Fire District of Springboro, Ohio, in the first match-up. Click here to watch their videos and learn more about them.

Now, it’s your turn to vote between today’s two contenders.

Meet the Tacoma Fire Department
Location: Tacoma, Washington

Twelves firefighters at Station 12 worked together with members of the community to make their creative lip-synch video, featuring the crew on and off-the-job, and showcasing a little breakdancing, and spirited dance moves like the worm and that hilarious “Night at the Roxbury” head bob. Above all, the department said they are proud to serve their community.

“The Tacoma Fire Department (TFD) is most proud to be able to serve the City of Tacoma, WA, the community that we live in by protecting life, property and the environment,” they wrote in their submission essay to “GMA.”

If they win, they fire department says they’ll donate the money to the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Operation Warm Coats for Kids.

Meet the Las Vegas Fire and Rescue
Location: Las Vegas, Nevada

The high-energy lip-sync video shows their firefighters at work and incorporates photos of the department through the years, as well as pictures with civilians, and great dance moves, of course. (Wait till you see them lift each other up on ladders and jump rope on a fire hose).

“We are committed to providing hands-on CPR training, which ties into one of our community partners, The American Red Cross, which is where we would donate our prize should we win,” they told “GMA” in their submission essay.

If they win the $10K prize, they say they’ll put the money towards the charity training event, which they hope will break the record for the largest hands-on CPR training ever.
