“Star Wars” director J.J. Abrams has a very sweet deal for fans of the movie franchise.
The director behind the much-anticipated "Star Wars: Episode VII” is now offering fans a chance not only to shoot a scene in the movie but to also see an advance screening for 20 friends and family.
“We know how much ‘Star Wars’ means to so many of you and we’d love to share the movie with you first,” Abrams said in a video explaining the contest.
“Star Wars” fans can visit omaze.com/starwars for their chance to win.
The contest’s first prize includes shooting a scene for “Star Wars: Episode VII” while being Abrams’ VIP guest on the movie’s London set.
“You will be transformed by our makeup and costume teams into a Star Wars character to be filmed for an actual scene in Episode VII,” a contest promotion read.
The contest’s second prize is the advanced screening of the movie for 20 friends and family.
By entering the competition, you would be supporting “Star Wars: Force for Change” and UNICEF.
The cast of "Star Wars: Episode VII” includes Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o, who starred in "12 Years a Slave," Gwendoline Christie, Adam Driver, Oscar Isaac and Max von Sydow. Those newcomers to the franchise will join “Star Wars’ icons such as Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher and Harrison Ford.
The movie is scheduled to open worldwide on Dec. 18, 2015.
