Pranksters Put 'Kiss Me, I'm Irish' to the Test

St. Patrick's Day is coming up and to celebrate, a couple of lucky Irish pranksters decided to put the "Kiss Me, I'm Irish" tradition to the test.

An Irish guy and girl stood on the street with signs that read – “Kiss Me I’m Irish” and “Free Kisses Because I’m Irish” -- and offered up kisses to strangers. While some passerbys were reluctant to trade pecks, many seriously lock lips. All in all, they’re pretty successful with more than 23 kisses in total.

The man behind the stunt is online prankster Stuart Edge, who has his own YouTube channel devoted to parodies and prank videos.

In February, he posted a similar kissing prank video in honor of Valentine’s Day, which put the “‘Spider-Man upside-down kiss’ to the test,” and racked up more than 2 million views on YouTube. In it, unsuspecting students on a college campus are asked if they would kiss Spider Man upside-down as in the famous movie scene. Then the character drops down from the building above in costume, and some students pucker up.
