Man goes on the ride of his life, sues BMW for 20 month long erection

If you tune into most television stations past 9 p.m., you have undoubtedly heard the ominous warning at the end of commercials for erectile dysfunction medications: “If you have an erection lasting more than four hours, consult a physician.”

For one California man, a ride of his life turned into penile priapism that lasted for 20 months — and he’s blaming it all on BMW.

Henry Wolf, 52, claims that a two-hour ride on his customized BMW motorcycle caused him to have an erection for nearly two years. Clearly, this is a serious problem. No bones about it.

In a lawsuit filed against BMW of North America and Corbin Pacific (the maker of his customized seat) in the Superior Court of San Francisco County April 28, the hard-headed Beemer owner seeks damages for “lost wages, personal injury, medical expenses, product liability, and negligent infliction of emotional distress.”

The plaintiff “is now unable to engage in sexual activity, which is causing him substantial emotional and mental anguish,” as one would imagine a 20 month erection would do.

Wolf says that the experience has left him ”distraught and distressed,” although we imagine most of his middle-aged pals are high-fiving him for his extreme stamina.
