Chile Beats Australia 3-1: World Cup Live Updates (ABC News)

Well, if you had predicted the opening game of the 2014 World Cup would have a questionable refereeing decision that may have determined the game's outcome, you're a big winner.

Neymar led hosts Brazil in its 3-1 victory over Croatia, scoring two goals, including one that came after a controversial penalty call. Brazil is seeking to win a sixth World Cup title, having last hosted in 1950 when it lost to Uruguay in the final.

The rest of Group A played today, with Mexico beating Cameroon 1-0.
