New ‘Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows’ Cover Revealed

Harry Potter fans, feast your eyes on this: The new cover of “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows” has been unveiled. GoodMorningAmerica.com got an exclusive first look at the updated look of the seventh and final book in the beloved series. The new cover shows Harry, Ron and Hermione perched on the back of a gigantic dragon as they head into the “pivotal battle which will determine the fate of the entire wizarding world,” according to publisher Scholastic.

All seven books in J.K. Rowling's beloved Harry Potter series have been released with new cover artwork, designed by graphic artist Kazu Kibuishi, to mark the 15th anniversary of Rowling’s original book, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” in September. In each of the new cover illustrations, Kibuishi, an artist and author of the bestselling Amulet series of graphic novels, captures a pivotal moment from that particular book, according to Scholastic.
