New York City sneaker selfies

Forget selfies, belfies and dronies... One company is offering a variation on the popular snapshot — thousands of feet above the New York City skyline. Aerial photography company FlyNYON is giving snappers the chance to take stomach-churning pictures of their limbs, hanging out of a helicopter above famous New York City landmarks. The shot — known by the company as a shoe selfie — has become a huge hit, with legs being snapped over the likes of the Empire State Building, Central Park, Times Square and the Freedom Tower. Thanks to the help of social media, FlyNYON, which is based in Kearney, N.J., has seen interest in the experience boom. (Caters News)
