Meet the new addition to New York City’s Bronx Zoo! The zoo released adorable photos of its baby snow leopard cub, born in April to mom Maya and dad Leo.  The cub, who has yet to be named, has a storied background. Dad Leo is the snow leopard who was famously rescued as a cub from northern Pakistan in 2006 and was transferred to the Bronx Zoo, a leading facility for the species. Since then, the big cat has become an “ambassador” between the nations, a zoo spokesperson says. The birth of Leo’s first cub has been celebrated in the international community.
