The 36th annual Photography Show in New York City

Presented by the Association of International Photography Art Dealers (AIPAD) and celebrating its 36th year, 'The Photography Show' is widely regarded as the preeminent exhibition dedicated to the medium.

Eighty-six of the world’s leading fine-art photography galleries will present a wide range of museum-quality work, including contemporary, modern and 19th-century photographs, as well as photo-based art, video and new media.

'The Photography Show,' presented by AIPAD, attracts the largest group of collectors interested in photography in the U.S.,” said Catherine Edelman, president of AIPAD and director of the Catherine Edelman Gallery. “They rely on AIPAD for exposure to the most talented artists working in photography today as well as important photography from all time periods.”

'The Photography Show' will feature galleries from across the U.S. and around the world, including Europe, Asia, Canada, Mexico, and South America. New exhibitors include Flowers Gallery of New York and London; Harper’s Books of East Hampton, N.Y.; Rolf Art of Buenos Aires; and Patricia Conde Galería, Mexico City.

Founded in 1979, AIPAD represents more than 120 of the world’s leading galleries in fine-art photography. The organization is dedicated to creating and maintaining the highest standards of scholarship and ethical practice in the business of exhibiting, buying and selling fine-art photography. 'The Photography Show,' presented by AIPAD, holds its opening night preview on Wed., April 13, 2016, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Park Avenue Armory. The show runs from Thurs., April 14, though Sun., April 17. Tickets may be purchased online at aipad.com/tickets and onsite throughout the duration of the show.
